This painting to me has a overall positive feeling towards nature. The girl in this painting is surrounded by several different animals and is wearing things that are a part of nature, such as the feathers in her hair and the fur around her body. A light from above is shining down, showing that she is doing good and has a special grace about her. She face is soft and she seems to be thinking and carefully looking at the bird in her hand. There are animals surrounding themselves around her and even on her shoulder, showing that they are not afraid of her and that she is a peaceful person. The animals, in a way, could even be looking up to her for guidance and acceptance. There are vibrant colors throughout the painting and attention is directed towards the whole painting instead of a few important sections, such as the girl or her hand, which could be a problem for us to determine where to look. The painting however, has excellent detail and viewers know that the artist spent a great deal of time on every aspect of the painting to make his work perfect.
